Osteosarcoma
Keywords:
Osteosarcoma, death, metastases, radiography, tumor.Abstract
The osteosarcoma is the most common cancerous bone tumor primary at infancy and
adolescence. It is a malignant tumor formed by mesenchymal cells bone producers
that asymptomatic in its beginning, even clinically and medical imaging invisible.
Osteosarcomas can be classified based on its physical location, cell prevalence,
(osteoblastic, chondroblastic, fibroblastic), its atypia and mitotic activity. Most of the
osteosarcomas are in the large bones medullary space, but also in the periosteum,
brain cortex, soft tissues and preexisting bone injuries. During this systemic literary
review, we will update this pathology concept and approach, that even though is
controllable and that if this is not done, it could be lethal.
