Urgente saber de vía aérea difícil en el paciente adulto en medio de la pandemia por Covid-19

Sobre vía área difícil es mucho lo que se ha escrito, lo que se ha investigado desde
los diferentes ángulos para darle el manejo apropiado a este importante tema, que
ha tomado más fuerza con el advenimiento de la pandemia por SARS Cov-2 y todo lo que
esta implica para los pacientes y el personal sanitario.
Tener en cuenta las bases fisiológicas, y las condiciones críticas de cada paciente, son
de vital importancia para abordar la vía aérea que se considera difícil.
En el siguiente artículo se expondrán de manera clara, resumida y completa la
información recopilada en los diferentes artículos científicos de bases de datos en
revistas indexadas, sobre la definición, clasificación sobre vía aérea difícil en el paciente
adulto durante la pandemia por la COVID-19, protocolos de manejo, el uso de dispositivos
avanzados e imagenologías. Las diferentes escalas que se usan para la clasificación, y
factores de riesgos personales asociados como la obesidad y las patologías de cuello.
