Abstract

Among the main causes of death worldwide are Heart Disease Ischemia (HF) and Stroke (CVA),considering that both  pathologies share risk factors, Interheart and Interstroke studies show that these factors can provide an odds ratio different for stroke and that most are modifiable, highlighting the lack of physical activity. The latter has gained great importance for the benefits demonstrated in the pre and post stroke of any individual, regardless of race, ethnicity or sex, so the impact of reducing sedentary lifestyle and increasing the time, frequency and intensity of physical activity that the healthy population and people with a history of stroke should have should be established, in order to implement it in clinical practice and improve their cerebrovascular health.
