Abstract

Artificial intelligence is one of the most notorious advances in the field of radiology in
recent years. Artificial intelligence algorithms can be applied to different problems
within the specialty, becoming a support for the clinician. The superior capacity of
artificial intelligence to carry out certain activities has caused an atmosphere of
distrust among health professionals and among the patient population that could
intervene in the implementation of this technology within the field of radiology. This
review will explore the role of the professional in radiology in a field with a great
influence from artificial intelligence.
